In first chapter Getting Ready To Learn, we talk about the syllabus of content of every chapter in Study skills.
Syllabus content
1. Getting Ready To Learn
2. Goal Setting
3. Time Management
4. Memory, Learning and Improving Concentration
5. Taking Lecture Notes
6. Academic Integrity and Performance
There are 3 learning style
1. Visual
Visual learning is a style in which a learner utlilizes graphs, charts, maps and diagram.
2. Auditory
Auditory learning is a learning style in which a person learns through listening. An auditory learner depends on hearing and speaking as a main way of learning.
3. Kinesthetic
Kinesthetic learning is a learning style in which learning takes place by the students carrying out physical activities, rather than listening to lecture or watching demonstration.
Based on these three ways of learning, I am more dominant in visual and auditory ways.
In this title, we also learned how to become a successful person. There are 8 ways to become successful.
How To Be Successful Person
1. Attend all classes and pay attention
2. Become active listener
3. Participate in class
4. Get to know your lecturer
5. Form a study group with your friends that you are comfortable
6. Stay up to date your work
7. Be reactive to change
8. Work hard every semester
